Established in 2009, Paige and Peacock Event Design is a boutique event + floral design studio located in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
We pride ourselves in offering a truly one stop shop for your vision creation. By encompassing the full event design spectrum, we meet your visual planning needs by creating a design path catered to your unique vision and your venues needs while staying in tune to the established budget. We orchestrate a beautiful, memorable day by carefully curating the fine details to make your event distinctive to you.
We specialize in event design including palette development, textile design, curated pieces, & floral designs. We bring forward the added value offering of targeted consulting, fine tuned coordination, and partnered wedding planning. Each of these services are customized specifically to you.

The journey of Paige and Peacock began after creator, Melissa (Paige) Fendley, discovered her own intense passion for the art of design through events.
Melissa was born into a family of multi-generation entrepreneurs, on both sides, including fashion, interiors, & most prominently, flowers. As a 5th generation florist, and a veteran in the hospitality industry, Melissa is naturally artistic & highly organized, making the move to event design an instinctive process.
Inspiration to create Paige and Peacock came while working in her established career as a Catering Manager & Event Coordinator from 2006 to 2012. The concept of P&P was cultivated as Melissa worked quite closely in the development of her clients most intricate celebrations, she relished in the logistics planning, organization, and of course the creative design element. She was inspired to help bring visions forward through her naturally creative vibe, and genuine hospitality spirit.
The initial idea of for P&P began in 2008, it quietly launched as a décor & DIY planning support business in 2009. While the décor division was officially born in 2009, Paige and Peacock expanded into consulting, coordination, + planning in 2011. The most exciting growth for Melissa was in 2015, with the decision to offer full-service event floral design. She came back to her roots, elevating P&P to a truly one stop experience for wedding design. The first in HRM.
Melissa brings forward a wealth of knowledge, genuine enthusiasm for you, & the creativity to transform any space into beautiful, memorable setting, curated with all the fine details unique to you.
We are thrilled to welcome Caitlyn to our team in 2021 as our Wedding Coordinator, as well as an integral part of our design flow. Caitlyn's love of weddings began in 2008. Her hospitality experience, calm demeanor, eye for design, & detail-oriented focus will ensure a smooth flowing experience for you and your guest. WIPC certified, Caitlyn will keep your day running on time and on task.
